God's everlasting journey never ends...we will BLOOM where we are planted!

Summing up the trip in a few words would have to be AMAZING! FULFILLING! REWARDING! AWESOME!  I don't think that anyone on my team of 18 would say any different. God revealed himself to so many of us in different ways and they were stretched by the things all of us saw and experienced in Magdalena, Guatemala.  My heart is overflowing with joy as I remember how the students showed their smiles, hugs, and tears amongst team members and in their worksites! Parents, you should all be proud as your kids truly demonstrated God's love to them and they used their hands and feet to minister in their worksites. After having led this trip for the last 8 years, this special community has an indelible part of my heart and it is such a joy to bring others down to experience just a taste of it. Without a doubt, my school year doesn't feel complete until this trip. To conclude my year with students actively involved with Spanish and using it to communicate in a real and tangible way is priceless.  Be in prayer for all of us as we struggle to apply what we have learned and extend those hearts, hands and feet to serve Him here in our communities at home. A big shout out to Team 2012 - I love all you guys! Memories were  made and our thumbprints have been made in Guatemalan soil, never forget to SHINE for him! We hope to put together a service club at CVC that will have ongoing activities throughout the school year to benefit Guatemala and students attending in years to come! What a blessing to see God move and a big THANK YOU to all of you for wanting to benefit the team and those in Guatemala!
