So......we have just a few more days until our enchilada orders are due at BT's! Fundraising has begun, enchiladas and soon pizza will be sold, checks will be written, and God will fill our carts. What a blessing we have to be able to serve Him and bless all the individuals that have so freely given of their time and their appetites to see this happen! May we always be THANKFUL for each individual that in any way helps us along in our efforts.
As we closed a student led Bible prayer meeting Monday night, I was overjoyed at the expression and desire to experience once again how we might be of SERVICE to Him. All those who have given, all those who form Students International Guatemala are already doing in preparing flight plans, separating our funds, preparing the summer discipleship, the summer staff, year round staff in Guatemala, students are there already preparing the way for us to come as well as countless other churches and school over the summer. Let us be mindful of the hands and minds that make up this trip. As I consider the Students International staff, I hear of changes and improvements, adjustment is being made, new staff is coming, one staff member is getting married, etc. I encourage all of you to look up on the SI Guatemala page, the names of staff members and PRAY for them. PRAY for their safety, for their willingness to SERVE countless hours to be a part of the daily lives of the Guatemalans. We are there for two weeks, many staff serve a minimum of two years there. Check out the different occupational ministries you may serve in in Guatemala as well on this page. The website has changed a bit, so look here.
