Final day of language school already?

Language school has been challenging, but a great time to have kids express in Spanish and prepare for the next few weeks here with new host families. Many of the students are carrying on conversations with their teachers, and have learned so much during thes  5 days..just imagine how
much can be learned if we were to stay even longer?
Many of the foreigners (and there are sooo many) stay for a longer period of time and they attend different language schools here in Antigua. We have met people from Korea, Austealia, Kansas, Alabama, Missouri, Iowa, Texas, Minnesota, and Iowa. A simple trip to the market English is heard. Today I met a group of boys here on a mission trip in Guatemala City from San José, Ca! Wow!
Certificates of completion for the week were given out today to the students from the language school, and all of the students finished up strong with their teachers.
Tomorrow we get to spend the day at the beach, on the Pacific Ocean side of Guatemala. All of the students are looking forward to some sunshine and relaxation. They deserve it after this week! Sunday we will attend bilingual church here in Antigua, and Sunday night we will move to our new host families in Magdalena..and we are soo excited for seeing familiar faces there and for our mission trip portion of the trip!
I was able to visit earlier today with Willi, and take him out to lunch at Pollo Campero. It was a bit of a process to be granted permission before I tackled the Antigua streets with a wheelchair! Didn't even think about the challenge that would be! Ha! I can't even explain how much I enjoyed that special time ..the best $6.00 meal I have EVER bought. Thank you Lord, for moment such as these.
We love and miss all of you back home. We covet your prayers for safety and we ask specifically for prayer that our faith would be a bold faith, one in which being a lukewarm Christian is NOT an option, and that we would allow His love to flow though us to the others on the team. Appropriate as we have 8 people joining us on Monday. I am so excited for how God is already at work among all of us. Praise only to Him!
