It is now 6:20 Guatemalan time and we will be eating breakfast soon and need to be at the church at 7 for devotional/quiet time. We will then go to our worksites and spend most of our day there and lunch will be a bagged lunch made by the summer staff.
Yesterday we had an orientation morning with an afternoon free to rest since the day before was so busy moving avocado trees. Last night we went to the community center for dinner and played games afterward. There are pictures on the Guatemala Facebook page.
The kids want me to tell you all that they love and miss you and as one student came up to me yesterday, said 'Sta. B, thank you for taking me here." Much appreciation to you parents for providing me this opportunity to spend with your amazing kids. Blessings from Guatemala!
I so enjoy your updates. I actually practiced your message yesterday during an activity I would have usually filmed and posted on Facebook. Left my phone in the truck and had an amazing time with both hands free. I enjoyed it from the depth of my soul. Now if only someone else could walk around filming my escapades with my grandchildren.
